This page is dedicated to my grandparents: Kay & Glendon Perkins who through more than sixty years of marriage have shown that love can survive all. They were seperated for seven years when Glendon was shot down in The Vietnam War, and still managed to work together to overcome a diffcult time in both of their lives. Kay came down with breast cancer and went on to survive the ordeal with treatment. Now in their more exciting years Kay has been diagnosed with Parkinsons and they have had to work together on understanding this disease.

I created this website because I wanted to share with you a love story which I believe has stood the test of time. They have has their trails and worked through them together. This I believe everyone wants in a true love story. One that I was lucky enough to witness.

"Life used to be a rat race. All the time trying to make money to buy things-one loses sight of the family. I learned you don't need much and that the values of life are family, faith in God and fellow man. These are things you can't buy. They have to be developed in the home."  -Glendon Perkins
